Frequently Asked Questions
Gates to the venue generally open one hour prior to showtime, unless otherwise noted on your ticket. Showtimes vary and are subject to change. Please see specific event pages for more information.
For ticketed events, once you enter the venue and your ticket has been scanned, you cannot leave the show and re-enter. Re-entry is only permitted in weather-related or medical emergencies, and must be approved by venue staff prior to exiting the venue.
Entry to a free show is first-come, first-served. If capacity is reached, we will operate on a one-in, one-out policy. For popular events, we suggest you arrive early.
Reentry is permitted during free shows, unless the venue is at capacity.
Most events at the Dillon Amphitheater are general admission and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless otherwise indicated on the ticketing page. Some events may offer small sections of reserved seating, early entry or VIP packages. The majority of events are general admission (the designated sections on the map below are for wayfinding only unless otherwise listed on your ticket).
The Dillon Amphitheater has implemented a clear bag policy for the safety of our guests, staff and artists. Guests will be permitted to bring one clear bag, no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" OR a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar), into the venue. In addition, fans may carry a small clutch bag or purse, no larger than 6.5" x 4.5", with or without a strap. Hydration packs (Camelbacks, etc.) are allowed but limited to 2L in size, must be emptied of all liquid, and have no more than one pocket in addition to the one holding the water reservoir. Each ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag or a hydration pack, and a clutch purse. All other types of bags and containers will be prohibited.
Additional Information:
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; diaper bags are not permitted.
- Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.
- Blankets should be carried over the shoulder to be screened more quickly.
- Cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.
- Water bottles are permitted as long as they are empty and 32 oz or less.
There are no provisions to check items at the gates. Guests will be asked to either take prohibited items back to their car or dispose of prohibited items at the gate. The Dillon Amphitheater is not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen or damaged.
If you brought a bag to a ticketed event that is not venue approved, you have the option of purchasing an approved bag from the box office.
You will not be able to put your non-approved bag into a purchased clear bag. All non-approved bags must be returned to your vehicle or home.
If you brought a non-approved bag to a free event, you will be asked to take that bag back to your vehicle or home.
The Dillon Amphitheater does not allow camp chairs with seats more than 5 inches off the ground (Ex: Crazy Creek or REI Trail Chair). All chairs must be low clearance, regardless of where you sit within the venue. SEE EXAMPLES HERE
If you lost an item at the Dillon Amphitheater, please fill out our lost and found form. We will do our best to reunite you with your lost item.
Non valuable lost and found items are placed in a box at the Main Gate at the Dillon Amphitheater. Lost and found items are only held for a short period of time (24 - 48 hours).
Found items are available for in-person pickup only. We will not mail found items.
Valuable items will be held at the Dillon Amphitheater Box Office for pick up.
The Dillon Amphitheater offers free shows all summer long. Tickets and/or registration are not required to attend free shows unless previously communicated on that event's page.
The Dillon Amphitheater operates on a first-come, first-served basis. If capacity at a free show is reached, we will operate on a one-in, one-out policy. For popular events, we suggest you arrive early in the event capacity is reached.
For free, non-ticketed events, accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Dillon Amphitheater Box Office is located at 87 Lake Dillon Drive, adjacent to the Marina Park parking lot.
The box office is only open during ticketed events (June-September) and generally opens one hour prior to doors, and closes 30 minutes after the headlining performance begins. Times may vary by performance and are subject to change.

The Dillon Amphitheater has a wide variety of food selections provided by local vendors, coupled with several beer, wine and canned cocktail choices. Visit our concessions page for more information.
The Dillon Amphitheater bars and box office are 100% cashless. This means that all purchases at these locations will need to be made with credit or debit cards.
Outside food is permitted as long as it fits within the venue bag policies. Picnics and commercially-sealed, non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Outside alcohol is not permitted and will be confiscated. Please drink responsibly.
Free event parking is available in 10 town-owned parking lots, and on many town streets, all within a 10-minute walk to the venue.
Premium paid parking will be available in the Dillon Amphitheater Parking Lot, Marina Lot and Lodgepole Street for all paid shows at the Dillon Amphitheater. The Dillon Amphitheater lot will open for those with reservations at 2 p.m. the day of the show. Parking prior to 2 p.m. is prohibited.
Overnight parking is prohibited in the marina and amphitheater parking lots and on town streets. Overnight parking is available in some town-owned parking lots for a fee. Click here for more details on overnight parking.
Event parking is not permitted at the Dillon Post Office, you may be towed.
Overnight camping is prohibited in all town lots, town parks, streets, and rights-of-way.
The Dillon Amphitheater is an outdoor venue and shows typically occur in all varieties of Colorado weather. Come prepared for adverse weather conditions including sun, wind, rain and even snow. It is wise to bring layers, especially since the weather can be unpredictable.
All shows are rain or shine.
Pets are welcome during non-event hours only. Per the Town of Dillon Municipal Code, all pets must be leashed and you must clean up after your pet.
Animals are not allowed at the Dillon Amphitheater during events, with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA.
Service animals are permitted at the Dillon Amphitheater. Emotional support animals, comfort animals and therapy dogs are not service animals as defined by the 2010 ADA Guidelines. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained. If a service animal interferes with other guests, corrective action may include re-arranging seating or removal of the service animal from the amphitheater.
