Welcome! We want you to have a wonderful time enjoying world-class music and events at the Dillon Amphitheater.
Please see below for a few rules to remember while you are visiting with us. Most importantly, your activities must not negatively impact the enjoyment of others or contribute to any damage to the venue. Use caution and remember that you are visiting at your own risk.
Dillon Amphitheater rules and policies are subject to change.
The Dillon Amphitheater has a clear bag policy for the safety of our guests, staff and artists.
Guests will be permitted to bring ONE clear bag, no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" OR a one-gallon clear freezer bag (Ziploc or similar), into the venue. In addition, fans may carry a small clutch bag or purse, no larger than 6.5" x 4.5", with or without a strap. Hydration packs are allowed but limited to 2L in size and must be no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" , must be emptied of all liquid, and have no more than one pocket in addition to the one holding the water reservoir. Each ticket holder, including children, may carry an approved clear bag or a hydration pack, and a clutch purse. All other types of bags and containers will be prohibited.
Additional Information:
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; diaper bags are not permitted.
- Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.
- Blankets should be carried over the shoulder to be screened more quickly.
- Cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved bag.
- Water bottles are permitted as long as they are empty and 32 oz or less.
There are no provisions to check items at the gates. Guests will be asked to either take prohibited items back to their car or dispose of prohibited items at the gate. The Dillon Amphitheater is not responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen or damaged.
Chairs must be taken out of their carrying case prior to entry.
All non approved venue bags must be taken back to your vehicle or home. The venue reserves the right to refuse any bag that does not follow this policy.
The Dillon Amphitheater does not allow camp chairs with seats more than 5 inches off the ground (Ex: Crazy Creek or REI Trail Chair). All chairs must be low clearance, regardless of where you sit within the venue. SEE EXAMPLES HERE
- Access to the Dillon Amphitheater is subject to scheduled events. A ticket or activity fee may be required for admittance.
- Gates generally open 60 minutes prior to a show. View specific show information as gate opening is subject to change.
- Pack an extra layer of clothing or a jacket because the weather can change quickly in the mountains.
- Glass bottles or other glass containers are prohibited in Marina Park and at the Dillon Amphitheater.
- Amplified music is not allowed (unless permitted by the venue); please limit the enjoyment of music to headphones.
- Exercise equipment that obstructs access to stairs, benches and other areas or that could cause damage to the venue or injury and to others is not allowed.
- Climbing or hanging on venue structures is prohibited.
- Pets are welcome during non-event hours only. Per the Town of Dillon Municipal Code, all pets must be leashed and you must clean up after your pet.
- Setting up tables, booths, and/or signage (commercial or otherwise) is prohibited without prior authorization from Dillon Amphitheater management.
- By trademark law, you may not reproduce the logo or represent any unauthorized affiliation with Town of Dillon or Dillon Amphitheater.
- Peddling and private vending is prohibited at the Dillon Amphitheater and on town property, including in Marina Park. This includes, but is not limited to, the sale of merchandise, food, beverages, and tickets.
- Skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, rollerskating and rollerblading is prohibited.
- Leaving stickers and art in the amphitheater is not only prohibited, but it is also considered defacing private property and is a crime.
- Groups using the picnic areas with 25 or more participants will need a Special Event Permit.
- Guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Upon arrival at the gate entrance, please have your bags open and available for review. Dillon Amphitheater management reserve the final decision on items brought into the venue.
For ticketed events, once you enter the venue and your ticket has been scanned, you cannot leave the show and re-enter. Re-entry is only permitted in weather-related or medical emergencies, and must be approved by venue staff prior to exiting the venue.
Entry to a free show is first-come, first-served. If capacity is reached, we will operate on a one-in, one-out policy. For popular events, we suggest you arrive early.
Reentry is permitted during free shows, unless the venue is at capacity.

- Water bottles - empty (32 oz. or less)
- Hydration packs (Camelbacks, etc.) are allowed but limited to 2L in size, must be emptied of all liquid, and have no more than one pocket in addition to the one holding the water reservoir
- Stadium seats, seat cushions, camp chairs and blankets. All chairs must be low-clearance, with seats no taller than 5 inches off the ground. Seating may not be set up prior to gates opening on the day of the show.
- Non-alcoholic beverages in factory-sealed containers (32 oz. or less), unless prohibited by the show; some shows may require the removal of lids upon entering the amphitheater.
- Food for personal consumption only, all food must fit within your clear bag
- Binoculars
- Blankets/tarps (max size 5’x7′)
- Umbrellas
- Infant car seats, baby slings, and baby carriers with up to one pocket and no internal frame
- Formula and breast milk, breast pumps
For your safety and the safety of others, guests and their possessions are subject to inspection as a condition of admittance. Upon arrival at the gate entrances, please have your bags open and available for inspection. Town of Dillon management reserves final decision on items brought into the venue. Intoxicated patrons may be denied admittance to the amphitheater.
Violators are subject to citation and ejection, and items are subject to confiscation.
- Any bags or containers that do not adhere to the bag policy above including mesh bags
- Liquids in non-factory sealed containers
- Alcoholic beverages, marijuana, and illegal drugs*
- Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the amphitheater (including e-cigarettes and vape pens).
- Glass bottles or objects
- Animals (with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA)
- Laser pointers
- Hard-sided coolers
- Audio or video recording devices, GoPros, 360-degree cameras, and cameras with removable lenses
- Selfie sticks
- Tablets or laptop computers
- Strollers or wagons
- Weapons of any kind (e.g. guns, knives, chains, studded/spiked jewelry)
- Totems (self-crafted, decorated sticks or poles)
- Hula hoops, poi or any other item that is thrown or swung
- Bullhorns and noisemakers
- Aerosols (e.g., hairspray, sunscreen)
- Masks (that cover the whole face, such as a Halloween mask)
- Confetti, glitter and other items that can be thrown
- Tarps or blankets larger than 5’x7′
- Chairs with seats taller than 5 inches off the ground
- Remote controlled flying devices, drones or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
In order to provide a safe and comfortable environment for concertgoers, there are policies and procedures in place to restrict drugs of all types from entering the venue as well as their use, distribution, and sale. However, the following procedures are in place to accommodate patrons requiring the legitimate use of prescription medications while attending an event:
- Patrons should only bring the quantity of medication needed for the duration of the show; please leave excess medication at home or in your vehicle.
- Prescription medication must be in the original prescription container with the patient’s name and dosage listed on the label. At entrances, venue medical staff will verify the medication and name on the label match the actual medication and patron’s identification.
- Patrons with more medication than is necessary for the duration of the show will be asked to return the excess medication to their vehicle. In instances where this is not possible, the medication will be stored with medical staff in the first aid tent or disposed of.
Guests who need to carry medication or a medical device that requires anonymity or discretion may request an exemption from the venue's clear bag policy. In these cases, a non-clear bag or case is permitted under the following conditions:
- The bag must be used solely to carry the medication, medical device, and any essential supplies required for its use.
- The bag must be not be excessively larger than the medical item(s) being stored inside.
- No personal items unrelated to the medical need may be stored in the bag.
- All medical bags are subject to a respectful security screening upon entry to ensure compliance with venue safety policies.
- Guests shall notify security staff upon arrival that they are carrying a medical bag to help expedite the screening process.
The Dillon Amphitheater is committed to balancing guest privacy with the safety and security of everyone attending events.
Notice of Filming and Photography By Venue:
By attending the Dillon Amphitheater, you agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for use in marketing, promotional and/or training materials, reproduced, distributed, publicly displayed or otherwise used by Town of Dillon, Peak Performances Inc., the host, presenter, promoter, sponsor of the event and their respective affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”).
- Instant/personal digital cameras are usually permitted, except when specific artists do not agree.
- No professional cameras of any type allowed (SLR, detachable lens, or a lens longer than 2″). No video or audio recording devices permitted. No tablets.
- The above policies are subject to change by artist management.
